What we're trying to do is show how you can take a parking lot today and really find a way to reuse that and create something-- and what we're trying to create is community.

When we learned that Metro was decommissioning part of their fleet, we wanted to find a way to reuse one of those cars in our project. With the help of artist Robert “Mojo” Mojeski, we are repurposing an entire subway car to create retail kiosks at the Grosvenor Strathmore Metro, which longer-term is going to be a development where we try to bring community together around arts, music and culture.
